“ Can't believe I've never given a review for Shampaan! A! Me and the wife have been going here for 6 years now and when people visit we always take them here to show them the best Indian food around! The staff are always friendly and welcoming, atmosphere is warm and cosy, along with Indian music and lights around the ceiling. Anyway.... The food! We just can fault it. I always try a different starter and always enjoy it. On Sunday they do a great deal, 14.95 which includes a starter, main, side and rice from 13:00-16:00hrs. Chef specials and seafood included but at an additional cost. We always have to ask for takeaway boxes and we just can't finish the meals but don't wanna waste them. Provided with hot towels from packets at the end and offered a complimentary small spirit at the end - always like the touch when it's offered. There's a s dessert menu that we try to squeeze in but really isn't possible every time. There's a decent sized car park round the back but also free street parking if you can find it. This is our favourite Indian restaurant and even when we move we'll definitely keep coming back! ”

We did have a long wait for our food (just under an hour) but all the food was very tasty and cooked to perfection. This was our first time eating here but we will definitely return. ”
